Learning is least useful when it is private and hidden; it is most powerful when it becomes public and communal. Learning flourishes when we take what we think we know and offer it as communal property among fellow learners so that it can be tested, examined, challenged and improved before we internalise it.

An educationalist at heart who developed my interest in leadership and managment via finance and company secretarial work in the public and private sector as well as teaching. Redundancy 9 years agoencouraged me to work as an educational and leadership freelance mostly in the learning and skills sector
