What kind of person are you?

I have worked for many years, onshore and offshore, in the oil & gas industry. I work with those wishing to achieve more fulfilling levels of performance, specifically to create a better and more productive working/living environment; to improve their health and well-being; to reach new goals; and to master self-limiting thinking & behaviour. I assist Leaders; Managers; 'Type A' personalities and high achievers, as well as those labelled as "under performers". I provide methods of incorporating system complexity where my clients are undergoing change. I believe true success comes when we develop team cohesion, flexible and adaptive thinking, creativity and we assist each other in the achievement of our goals. I am a professional and accredited workplace mediator.
I am also a Psychotherapist working in private practice on Harley St. I specialise in cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and CBT Hypnotherapy. I work mostly with those wishing to experience more fulfilling relationships and overcome self-limiting problems.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
To have the opportunity to assist those wishing to better manage people, improve performance and manage change initiatives. To facilitate others professional development in the field of leadership, management and behaviour, and to network with others working in my field.
What do you do for your own development?
I am a member of the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), and continually add to my CPD as a requirement of my membership; and also because I enjoy it! I am also in touch with other professionals through various professional groups, including complexity thinking, systems thinking, and HR-related topics. I also write a weekly blog which forces me to think outside the box :-) and twitter almost daily!
