Support Cultures can be 'toxic'. The very support culture which delivers responsive, high quality service may be inimicable to an organisation's capacity to perceive threats to its existence from the external environment.

Could you send me your mobile number? I'm 07531469637. If that's OK I'll give you a call when I finish up at the embassy to let you know how I'm going....and to get instructions for finding you! Ta, Rachael
Thanks for the update on Tuesday. I hadn't realised it was a bit out of London so I suspect I won't be able to get there for 11.30am: my appointment is at the French Embassy and I've been warned that it could take hours! Could you let me know what time you think the session itself will start (sounds like you were having lunch first?) and if time goes well and I can get there before you start I'll jump on a train? Rachael
Thanks Deborah! I had the meeting in my diary, but a number of things cropped up, work and personal stuff, so couldn't get over to St Albans. I hope you had a good time. How many turned up this time? What did you discuss?
I am away on 26th Oct as it's half term.
Do keep in touch.
Thanks for your comment Deborah. I hope you are keeping well!
I'm waiting on a number of opportunities to find out the outcomes - holiday time is always a bit frustrating getting hold of folk. Still, gives time for loads of other things!
I'll need to let you know whether I can make it on 21st.
Hi Deborah, I'm again using Comment Wall because the message reply system is not working here (I've reported it to Leif).
Replies are (confusingly) interspersed with your text.
Apologies for disturbing you in France. I rang on the off-chance you were goung in for Amed's writers group which at the last minute I decided to attend. Was going to see if we could train in together.
Re next st albans group.
Will post date as Mon 21st as no one's objected.
Re venue - I looked at the Quaker's library (Upper latimore Road), which is perfect but like everywhere else has no nearby parking. As quite a few people will drive I'd like to suggest we meet at my house 104 Gurney Court Avenue. Will be cosy, but free and easy parking, which is more important. David B. and Beryl said they thought my sitting room would be OK, and since then I've moved the furniture to make more room. Please tell me how you feel about this suggestion asap so we can post as EVent on website.M I haven't found anywhere else to meet with free, available parking.
OK WITH ME
Have fun, Deb ps would value your thoughts on process, but understand if you're busy. Did you read David Shepherd's excellent suggestion?
YES, LOOKS LIKE A GOOD START
Thanks for your call. I'm back now from France, departing tomorrow (Tues lunchtime) for Germany, returning Friday evening.
Hope to pick up emails/texts/messages from time to time.
