Hi Penny,

Thanks for the congrats. I'm leading a session on autoethnography as a method for the Writers' Group in April. What sort of session and what kind of forum did you have in mind for the subject of my dissertation (solo practitioner & self as instrument)? I'd be interested in pursuing something if there were interest...

Hi Penny,

I have been a member of AMED on and off for 10 years.  I didn't know about the site until I looked it up.  It's good - bright pictures and warm colours, someone did a good job here!

I looked at some of your pics, your workshop graphics are very good.  I guess you're using some templates as well as free-hand drawing.  Very nice.

Best wishes,

Hi Penny

Thanks for your message - it's certainly made me feel welcome.

I found out about the group by researching some inspiring individuals who also happen to members.

Thanks for the sustainability link - looks really interesting.

Kind Regards,

Hi Penny. I found out about AMED through you actually. I was looking at the IEMA website, when I saw the book that you produced for them. Through the wonders of Google, I found the Sustainable Development Network and through that AMED. I'm in London on the 14th, so may well pop into the lunch. Adam

Hi Penny,

Thanks for the information about the sustainable development network, it looks interesting.

I'm a volunteer for the Envrionment Council which is why I don't appear on the website.

Hi Penny, let me explain more. My experience is 5 years in Assertive Outreach and currently 5 yrs in Early Intervention working with service users who are experiencing first episode psychosis. My position within the team is support, time and recovery worker and I am in the 3rd year of doing my occupational therapy degree part time inservice route. I am just attempting to prepare for my dissertation (scary). Can you tell me about this site and how it may be useful for me? Julie

Hi Penny,

the most useful are probably LSIS updates (Learning and Skills Improvement Service) and SFA updates (Skills Funding Agency), because they are the most relevant to my work.

Hi Penny,
Thank you. I have been trying to count all the sources of information I try to keep up with and I've reached 18 and counting!! The main ones are from government sources, LSIS (Learning and Skills Improvement Service); Ofqual; NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics); Skills for Life network, LLUK (Lifelong Learning UK); SFA (Skills Funding Agency); NRDC (National Research and Development Council); NANAMIC (National Association for Numeracy and Mathematics in Colleges); Ofsted, LSN (Learning and Skills network; and all the main awarding bodies.
There are more and it has surprised me to see how many I try to read.No wonder I never seem to catch up!
Best wishes

Hi Penny
I note the Crowdwise event is on Thursday 23rd September in the afternoon - the same day as the start of the AIN conference in Amsterdam. Any chance it might get pushed earlier in the day?

Hi Penny,
I think I have a publisher! O-books sent me a contract this week.
Very good I am told. I have excellent endorsements too.
Soon I'll get my life back.
Have a nice weekend,

Thanks for your warm welcome Penny. I am hoping to attend the AMED event at Brighton next week and will make it a point to find out more about the writer's group.

You all seem to be a very active little bunch of folk!

Hi Penny,

Have you told anyone about the sale of back-issue SDN O&P on the 'e-O&P' O&P Buy page?

Hi Penny, I knew Alan who did great work for us building the framework for sustainable development. I think he is consulting now but he left a great legacy here. I am only involved as any other manager in the company with my key focus being on our commercial capabilities i.e. how we market and sell our brands across the globe and how that is likely to change.

O&P back issues

O&P back issues now for sale.

We have a rich library of O&P issues and individual articles in electronic format going back to 1994, just waiting for you. Copy of order form for back issues of e-O&P in MS Word format.
