Who Provides the Best University Accommodation in Portsmouth?

Every summer, students from all walks of life prepare to study in southern coastal city of Portsmouth. It is known historically as the maritime centre of operations for Britain throughout modern history.

The city boasts many maritime colleges and naval university campuses. They have been here for more than a century among many of the more traditional college learning centres. Portsmouth and Southampton are two cities along the Solent where student life is of a very high standard. The same applies to the level of accommodation.

To live and study in Portsmouth, it is probably best achieved by staying at digs specifically designed with the student in mind. There are a number of student accommodation centres in Portsmouth that cater specifically for those attending the universities in the city.

Style, Comfort, Security and Safety

The apartments are stylish, neat and very comfortable and there are plenty of rooms to relax and study in peace. The traditional concept of rowdy student accommodation homes does not apply here anymore.

Each apartment has a really comfortable bed, communal areas for meeting fellow students and plenty of storage facilities for those with a lot of wardrobe and belongings. At UniLife, it is very easy to book into one of the three Portsmouth accommodation centres where everything is fairly close to hand.

Double Rooms

Double rooms are available for students who wish to share or someone with a partner who is willing to share the cost. A double room partner does not necessarily have to be a student.

How Much Will It All Cost?

Billing depends on whether you take a single or double room and there are three different room styles. But the tariff is the only money you will have to part with. There are no hidden extras or nasty surprises financially, once you have paid the annual booking fee for your room.

In many ways, the costing is like an all-exclusive kind of package. Once the fee has been paid up you get everything at the student accommodation centres for free.

Free Wi-Fi, electricity, gas, TV licenses are all covered and contents insurance is too. The only money you might need will be to spend at the many shopping plazas, restaurants or bars located in the city centre.

The Portsmouth accommodation centres are specifically based at Earlsdon Street, Saint James Street and Middle Street.
