Not a quote specific to management development, but more universally represents something significant to me:
- "Love can attain what the intellect cannot fathom"
What kind of person are you?
More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
Have been in the field of people and organisational development for over 20 years. Started as an HR professional in both strategic and operational roles - leading, for example, a major culture change programme. Went on to work at Roffey Park Institute in leadership development and management education. Now an independent consultant working with clients in all sectors.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
Personal and professional development; networking; ideas and conversation.
What do you do for your own development?
Regular attendance on workshops and courses - e.g in Gestalt, Appreciative Inquiry, Future Search, Coaching.
Involved in developing OD practitioners on qualification programmes which I find develops me at the same time.
Part of a peer group providing support and challenge, plus have a personal supervisor as part of my coaching practice. Write books and articles to sharpen and share my thoughts about the work we do.
Welcome to the AMED Network. The Writers' Group is great - just did my autoethnography session for them last Friday, with a great turn out. Hope your writing for various projects is going well this week!
