Please share your favourite management development insight or quote.
One doesn't discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.
What kind of person are you?
More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
I currently work with locally-based peacebuilders in various countries. I also maintain a wiki named Hopebuilding http://hopebuilding.pbworks.com that shares stories of locally-driven achievement in the 'developing' world. I edit the monthly online publication, IAF Europe Newsletter.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
Pleased to be able to see how your journal works and to coedit an issue.
What do you do for your own development?
In facilitation terms, I do my best to follow developments in facilitation in Europe and encourage people to write about them and to share their knowledge. In terms of my work, I work with my own university in Canada and take courses or other professional development related to peacebuilding and capacity-building-driven evaluation.
Welcome to the AMED Writers' Group. Over the next couple of days, I aim (finally!) to write up the planning notes for our 2/3 August Open Source Thinking Workshop, in time I hope for our meeting on 9 April. What would you think of inviting Martin to join us as well?
I look forward to co-editing the Autumn 2011 issue of e-Organisations and People with you, on the theme of Facilitation.
I'll be in touch again very soon. Meantime, please feel free to join the AMED Writers' Group as a (virtual) Member. (Go to Groups/Writers' Group, and sign in). And it would be a real bonus if you could add a photograph of yourself to your AMED personal page.
