I'm really interested by the different contributions on the road to Bournmouth so far. Makes me reflect on what is already 'closer to home' for me and what requires more effort to understand or…Continue
"I support your thought Andrea about an external blog - certaily something that could have perhaps an agreed frequency and perhaps a roster of authors who agree to a short 'thought of the month' or somesuch. . . could be a reflection on an…"
"I have just emerged from 10 weekdays in an outdoor classroom focused around story circles and how to purpose them as a social prescription that mitigates chronic loneliness. So, I am catching up with all of this lovely new #GoWithTheEnergy and…"

Please share your favourite management development insight or quote.
From Betty Sue Flowers, and used to connect me with supervisees or co-workers:
"As models of leadership shift to more distributed, shared networks. . . many people will need to be deeply committed to cultivating their capacity to serve what’s seeking to emerge"
What kind of person are you?
More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
Updating from my 2012 missive, when I had moved from London to the Cotswolds via some home educationg for the children, much has gone on. I still have particular interest in corporate wisdom and its development, having been an author and speaker on that topic as well as on ethics, gestalt and story. Still love story-based evaluation and my coaching work. Have had good reason to struggle in recent years with our current education system (now 2019) and general challenges for teens, started and stopped undertaking a PhD around metacognition and adult learning, and now am drawn to adult development, the use of the poetic imagination and the intricacies of planetary inhabitation - including support for our next generations.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
provocation and juxtaposition; colleagueship
What do you do for your own development?
write (book chapters and poetry), work, raise a family, volunteer, yoga, reflect
Your note seemed to have got lost in my technology so am very pleased I have finally retrieved it.
Congratulations on embarking the PhD journey! Teriffic. I'm delighted for you. I'm assuming you will be focusing on wisdom theme in some way? Where are you registering? Who is working with you as supervisor?? Wonderful for you to be launching this now. If you ever want to discuss more I'd be very happy to explore...
I'm also wondering if you are planning to bring together the AMED Journal wisdom article contributers as you'd planned a while back?
Have a great summer and look forward to hearing more about how you develop your PhD work. I'm planning to start writing on developments emerging from my post phd/ consulting/ wisdom work later this year.... Thanks again for contacting me Susan
Great to be connected here Julie. I'm very pleased to contribute to the 'Wisdom' Journal and even more so to see the theme of the 'Exploring Frontiers 2013' event emerging with a strong focus on wisdom too.... I also see that you went to the AMED Frontiers conference in 1998 and have good memories of that - me too. Interesting that we were both participants then and have such a good vibe remaining from it now. Seems like a great link that we have now properly connected. Many thanks!
Welcome Julie to AMED. I have just sent you an invite to join the Full AMED Members Group which will enable you to view and download the e-O&P journal. Also featured your website in our Members Website page under the Resources tab. Please email if you have any queries. Kind regards, Linda
