More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
Have spent many years working in post-16 education as a teacher, manager, inspector and independent consultant. This includes inspection of provision made by local authorities, FE colleges, prisons and voluntary organisations.
Am also a freelance writer with credits in the the Observer, the TES and other national publications. Increasingly interested in International Development. A runner up in the Guardian Internationall Development journalism competition 2008.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
Ideas on how to persuade managers that people development in still worth doing in times of a shrinking economy and major cutbacks.
