Arnold Kransdorff is a corporate historian and expert practitioner in knowledge management (KM). A former feature writer and company analyst for the Financial Times in London, his speciality is the management of Organisational Memory (OM), the institution-specific know-how accrued from experience that characterises any organisation’s ability to perform. He was the first to identify the phenomenon of corporate amnesia in the early 1980s, soon after the flexible labour market took off.
His first book on the subject, ‘Corporate Amnesia’ (Butterworth Heineman, 1996) was shortlisted for the UK’s Management Book of the Year in 1999. Now out of print, it is available as an eBook at www.corporate-amnesia.com
