What kind of person are you?
More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
I am a former community worker and have been a creative writing tutor for twenty five years. I have also tutored first level social science for the Open University and helped to develop its academic writing support programme. I have an MA in Creative Writing (writing for personal development, poetry, short fiction) and have undertaken training in Psychosynthesis. I now focus on developing creative writing(courses/workshops/one to one) in my neighbourhood of Rotherhithe SE16 - see Creative Writing in Rotherhithe on Facebook. I am particularly interested in the crossover between personal development and the production of exciting writing. My writing and tutoring practice is influenced by Buddhism.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
The chance to share practice with like minded people- an opportunity to talk about my work and interests and hear about others'
What do you do for your own development?
I go to my own poetry group - for feedback and writing prompts, attend Art Class (Painting and the Imagination) and take photos - none of people, some on Facebook!
