Great work on the draft integrated edition, David.  Thank you.

I'll go through it carefully tomorrow.  Best wishes.  Bob

So ... I think I am up to date with all the articles I have received.

Wonderful articles.  Great edition.  Essence of AMED.

The editorial speaks of David's and Bill's articles being horror stories, which they certainly are.  But are they not also commonplace?  I suppose that is what the Gallup figure of 89% disengaged is saying.  Of course, 'disengaged' may not mean horrorstruck, just very low expectations.

What really grabbed me in the editorial is the use of the term 'neo-liberal' to describe the predominant management paradigm. We humanists, system thinkers (wooly-minded, pinko-lefty liberals) don't have an answer to power and the human appetite for control or for the illusion of control.  We sit in our consensus building circles, engaging in dialogue, resolving conflicts, building consensus while the neo-liberals (Do I mean neo-cons? Or is that something different?) seize the banks and the rifles and get on with the coup.

(Thank you for listening to my rant.) :-)  (Help!)

I have enjoyed having a look at the papers so far, shaping up to be a fascinating edition! Interesting themes coming through, particularly in how most of us have gone about our writing and the humanistic and narrative methods we draw on. Looking forward to seeing the editorial. I have uploaded here by latest draft. Happy with your suggested edits and I'll keep Flyvbjerg  as it is. I've put in one or two other changes in yellow. You asked me for the PowerPoint slide, here is the whole lot. If they have not uploaded properly please say.

To everyone else - hello! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Thanks David, for your kind words. I hope my experience can be useful to others as much as other people's stories of becoming a parent have been to me :-)

Thanks, Ilaria.  Changes made.  I didn't change the version number as the first posting should have been 01.

I liked the way you learned from your research subjects and then you learned from them again - and so much more - with your own experience, when you really understood what your research subjects were speaking about.

I thought you were candid about this and thus embodied the Spirit of AMED.  :-)

Thanks, David. This proof is fine but there are still parts highlighted. Also, could we have the email address at the end as

many thanks,
