A new e-publication The Editors Chair, to be launched on 1 November 2011 is for editors and editors-in-the-making and focuses on publishing and its current challenges exclusively from this perspective. The first issues will be looking at the 10 key issues facing content creation and management and asking what steps we should be taking to mitigate the risks.

You can subscribe to Content Issues on

The Editor's Chair is an exclusive blogsite, newsletter and network for editors and their editorial teams who want to develop the skills, insight and knowledge needed to succeed in the creation and management of quality content.

It focus on the multi-skills needed to succeed in the ‘new editorial publishing environment’ – by this we mean skills editorial didn’t need before the web and digital explosion with its multi platforms, interactive relationships, online marketing, blogspots, social networks, video on demand content and search-engine-optimised-keyword-loaded-articles.

AMED received the above details via email and posted it as a discussion item as it might be of interest to our Networkers and Full Members.
