WE are the charity for the Retail Sector, and one of our services is to provide housing for retired retail staff. We have five estates across UK, and schedule an annual Residents Conference for our residents. This year the subject our residents would like discussed at this conference is Building Community Involvement.

We would like to have somebody to present to our residents on this and this 40 minute presentation could include the following:

  •  Building social support networks
  • The health-preserving effects of good social networks – better outcomes for mental health and wellbeing
  • Tackling social isolation and exclusion
  • The value of peer support
  • Nurturing an inclusive community – enabling everyone to make a contribution
  • Volunteer networks and “timebanking”
  • Communicating in the community

DO you have anybody who will be able to assist with this?

The conference is scheduled for the 2nd October and it will take place at our head office in Mill Hill, North London.

I hope you can help us.
