Event Description

The AMED annual writers' workshop by the sea

Your invitation: Come to AMED’s annual visit to the seaside.  Enjoy creative conversations. Reflect. Savour some quiet personal writing time. Meet old and new writing friends. Experiment, practice, make discoveries. Celebrate each other’s talents.  Have some fun during the Brighton Festival. Leave with renewed energy and creativity.

Rob and Alison will open a space to explore how trust emerges at work, paying particular attention to the role of conversations and writing, and how they interconnect. This will be a flexible, experiential session, enabling opportunities to:

  • Hear about what Rob and Alison have learned from their Roffey Park-funded research into trust
  • Read some of their short written pieces on trust (stories and blog posts), and reflect on what associations, thoughts or feelings they spark in you.
  • Do some 'free writing' to explore how relationships at work have developed in your own experience.
  • Exchange experiences with others to deepen understanding of how relationships evolve.
  • Reflect on how a combination of reflective writing and conversation can stimulate new thinking.

This  Brighton workshop will have a different emphasis from their ODiN session in January, so do come along even if you were at the earlier event.
