Organised for Good Money Week
A free public meeting, open to all, on our use of money & the link to sustainability.
How we spend, save, invest and plan our pensions all affect the planet. Our individual and corporate choices can add to or reduce climate change, pollution and plastic waste.
Finding an ethical bank? Disinvesting from fossil fuels? Spending responsibly? Join us to explore how our choices can make a difference and be financially responsible.
With the help of Victoria Hiskins from Rathbone Greenbank Investments and Esther Darrah of the Refillery amongst others, we will be thinking how our use and management of money can impact the planet for good or ill. We'll explore the impact of disinvestment from fossil fuels on pension funds, and the possibility of encouraging a circular economy, particularly for plastics.
