Open gathering and celebration of AMED
Friday 1 July 2022, 1:00pm - 4:30pm, with vegetarian lunch and refreshments
Please join us to celebrate AMED’s achievements before AMED closes on 31 August. This will be our chance to reflect, reminisce, share and explore ideas about possible new forms in which the spirit of AMED might continue to develop and thrive.
Join us at 1:00 in the main hall for lunch, come for the whole afternoon or drop in when you can, and perhaps stay for a visit to the pub when we’re done. If you can, do bring a memento, some photos, an old publication - anything which has a connection with celebrating AMED for you.
If you are unable to attend please feel free to send any written reflections, memories, pictures or suggestions for sharing.
Of course, there is some sadness about AMED coming to a close - in its present form, at least - but we are all looking forward to a thoughtful and satisfying gathering. With your help, we hope to find ways to stay in contact and continue our explorations and learning together.
Do come, if you can.
Cost: Participation is free.
Please let us know by 24 June if you intend to come, indicating whether you would like lunch and have any dietary requirements. RSVP to Linda Williams at email@example.com or you can also click on the RSVP panel on the right-hand side of this Events web page.
Bob MacKenzie, David McAra, Julie Allan and Rowena Davis

NB COVID Safety
For all the wishful thinking, the pandemic is evidently still with us. Roots and Shoots is a well-managed venue with spacious rooms, good ventilation and a garden we hope to make use of, weather permitting. However, there is obviously still some risk. Please stay away if you are not well.
