Event Description

Moving forward…

- a collaborative action-based enquiry into the question:

To create a more sustainable world,

how do we speed up the required change in the way people think?”

More and more people are recognising the need to move away from the status-quo.  The challenges facing us today require new thinking, new ways of approaching the complex challenges that we and subsequent generations face.

Many feel that tipping points are approaching and so see the need for action as ever more urgent, regarding the rate of change as too slow, and yet poorly considered actions will do more harm than inaction, so deeper understanding of the underlying structures and inter-connectedness is essential if we are to make wise choices and take effective actions.

Individually many of us struggle to determine what each of us could be doing to influence and effect the necessary change. How can we have an impact?

Together, collaboratively, we can harness the power of the collective mind to address these concerns and identify ways forward.

Schumacher Institute for Sustainable Systems (SISS) and the Association of Sustainability Practitioners invite you to a collaborative action-based enquiry.
