You are warmly invited to a special joint AMED Sustainable Development Network/ AMED Writers’ Group session. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your client and personal issues about creating a sustainable world to explore how stories can connect with / lead to Ah Ha! moments for problem resolution and change.
Please note that, to create an intimate and interactive dynamic, we are limiting the number of places to 15. So do book early to be sure of your place.
David Sharman and Chris Grieve present an afternoon of exploration into the use of metaphors, stories, conversation and writing as strategies to influence others to see, hear or behave differently. To help us achieve this purpose, we play with hundreds of images that can serve as sparks for creative thinking or as props for storyboard themes you want to write about. We explain the creative strategy of Walt Disney and invite you to test its effectiveness. Please come prepared to discuss and spend some time writing about a messy problem you're facing for which no apparent solution is apparent.
This is a rare opportunity for you to tap into your own and others’ creativity to find ways to communicate about issues you feel passionate about.
Cost (payable on arrival) - Full AMED Members: £10; Networkers and Guests: £12.50
You are welcome to bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee and water will be served.
And afterwards – an even more informal get-together at the Ship Pub, Kennington, where we can organise a kitty if that would help.
We look forward to seeing you on 19 October. Meantime, please get in touch if you have any questions or comments.
Best wishes. Bob
