Event Description

IFAL Workshop 'Critical Action Learning – The Role of Facilitator' with Professor Kiran Trehan, Professor of Leadership and Enterprise Development, University of Birmingham

For details see http://ifal.org.uk/ifal/newsevents/

This is a novel opportunity to participate in a highly interactive workshop led by a leading academic and practitioner. It will challenge, stimulate and inform your practice and develop your knowledge about Critical Action Learning. You’ll find out through experiential methods and exercises how social dynamics and power relations influence organisational learning and leadership development.

You will learn how to:

  • Develop approaches and techniques to help you to confidently facilitate critical learning groups
  • Design Critical Action Learning interventions
  • Deepen your understanding of tensions and dynamics within groups
  • Help set members use critical reflection to gain insight into power relations and inequities within both the group and their organisation.

This workshop is for AL facilitators, commissioners, set members and anyone interested in extending and challenging their practice and thinking.
