Event Description

Clean Language is a style of questioning that imposes limits on the questioner in order to reduce bias and encourage a more meaningful, deeper response. The questions are simple in structure yet powerful in their impact. When delivered in a steady, slow rhythm, they create an introspective state of mind in the receiver, similar to mindfulness and meditation.

Really looking forward to this.. I guess we aim to be 'clean' in action learning - that is, as far as possible avoid loading/muddying the questioning with our own assumptions and preferences - Clean Language offers a template explicitly for this and it will be fascinating (and I'm sure, a little challenging!) to experience and experiment with it in an AL context and to gain feedback on what difference it makes in understanding and finding solutions for problems
