Event Description

Discussion Leader:  Ross Haworth

Machiavelli wrote:

“There is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things.  For the reformer has enemies in all those that profit from the old order, and only lukewarm defenders in all those who would profit by the new order.”

The goal of the evening is to discuss how organisational change can be achieved and share experiences of successful and perhaps unsuccessful initiatives.  We will try to identify the main blockers of change and investigate why there is a danger of drifting back to the old ways of ‘command & control’ management?

Sorry I can't make it, Ross and David

Very pertinent goal, and I only wish I could be there with you in the Doric Bar.

Maybe you and others will be moved to contribute something afterwards to a future edition of e-O&P and/or the AMED website?

Very best wishes for a stimulating evening.  Bob
