Event Description

The event this year is taking place on the Saturday 6th June 2015 from 12pm-6pm at St. Luke ‘s Community Centre.  There will be even more music, artwork, workshops and delicious food.

FizzFest, a community led festival, started in 2009 has been growing bigger and bigger. The event is filled with fun activities, stalls, performers and fun competitions.  The main aim of the festival is to promote the arts to the community.  All the inspirational artists, musicians and performers live in the local area giving up their time for free.

There are two fantastic stages, the line up is as followed in the Fizz stage: Grand Union Youth Orchestra, Ruth Brown (BBC’s The Voice), MC Dekey (Britains Got Talent), King Pin, Weyland and the incredible Key Change Stage will involve the award winning music engagement and recovery services for people experiencing mental health problems.

The Key Change Stage will include incredible performances including: DJs Shorty and Mista Maths, bands including Kasbian Island, Art Best and the Resters, Spectrum Rappers including Seraphin, Weyland and Kola.

As well as the breathtaking performances, there is also a chance to get creative and for you to be involved in some incredible workshops such as: recycled art, drum making, green wood working and a secret nail salon. There are also a variety of stalls you can go to for all age groups including: kid’s arts and crafts, gemstones, handmade jewellery and health projects.
