Exploring Urgent Societal Issues
An AMED workshop series via Zoom
Part 1 – Race
We are delighted to announce the first of a series of AMED workshops exploring urgent societal issues.
Come and join an exciting opportunity exploring ways to increase diversity within AMED, starting with a focus on race. We are keen to learn and change our behaviours in this crucial area. We also know that working skilfully with difference is key to well-functioning and high-performing groups and organisations, and we want more of this in AMED!
The sessions are open to any AMED member or invited guest.
This is an active and intentional exploration, so please come willing to share personal experience, explore dynamics and defences, and engage in sense-making and feedback.
9.30am-12.45pm UK time on Thursdays 21 January, 25 February and 1 April 2021.
There are a limited number of places (12), which are open to those who can commit to attending all three workshops. All places are free. To apply, please complete the application form and email it by 4 January 2021 to amedoffice@amed.org.uk.
We are delighted to have two very experienced facilitators, Bella Mehta & Colin Heyman who are offering their services pro bono. To avoid disappointment, please let us know as soon as you can if you’d like to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity.
