AMEDconference, 8/9 October
As leaders, managers and developers, what are our roles, and how could we address the key issues we face in these turbulent times?
Prepare to be surprised.
An AMEDconference is different from the norm. No gurus on a pedestal or podium. Instead, committed and creative peers engaging with each other inclusively in personal and professional development through conversations about themes they’re keen to explore. At EF2013, we’ll come together for two days as co-inquirers to learn and contribute through Open Space interaction. This is a conference where you really do confer!
Outcomes:
One of the principles of Open Space is that “Whatever happens is the only thing that could have.” So, without trying to pre-judge outcomes, you might....
o Move your thinking / practice closer to a new frontier of learning and development
o Explore issues of prime concern to you
o Experience / explore alternative or complementary ways of thinking to yours
o Engage in meaningful dialogue with fellow professionals
o Co-create new ideas and opportunities for yourself and other people
Venue:
To escape Victorian London, Edward VII (then Prince of Wales) built a retreat in Bournemouth. We’ll be enjoying the same relaxing atmosphere and freedom on 8th / 9th October. The Langtry Manor hotel.
Fees:
Please download the booking form for cheque and BACS payments or click here to pay using PayPal and view updated cancellation policy. Day rate option available if you live local to Bournemouth.

Hi, I notice my name doesn't appear as an attendee at the conference but I have paid up, received confirmation and will be coming! Looking forward to it and to being by the sea.
Irene
The dates are perfect - thank you. I noticed the Frontiers conversation when I was on the network page. There are days when I despair about the future of the democratic process and civic engagement - having a forum to talk about how to make the change/be part of the change in our own lives, work and communities is a discussion I definitely want to be part of. Away with clients in Ottawa this week- so only checking in sparodically.
Hi Lin, We have just added the dates 8 and 9th October. Would you be happy to contribute to the conversation http://www.amed.org.uk/forum/topics/exploring-frontiers-2013-spring...?
Feels like, smells like, Open Space - I am really excited about this event and have organized my trip from North America so that I am able to attend!
