Event Description

Your invitation: Come to the seaside, and participate in a Thinking Environment™ - a set of behaviours that generates the finest thinking. Focus on your unique writing interests, both with Thinking Partners and individually. Enjoy creative conversations. Reflect on whatever most interests and engages you.  Savour some quiet personal writing time. Meet old and new writing friends. Experiment, practice, make discoveries. Celebrate each other’s talents.  Have some fun during the Brighton Festival. Leave with renewed energy and creativity.

Time To Think™ is a highly regarded creative approach, facilitated today for AMED at a specially discounted cost by an eminent TTT practitioner.

Some optional resources

Discover more about the 10 Components of The Thinking Environment and an online assessment here.  By completing this checklist, you'll identify a thinking component you could develop, thus making the day even more pertinent for you.  However, this is optional, as we'll  introduce some handouts for participants.  Click here for some optional further reading.

Christina writes

'With 30 years experience as a Management and Executive Coach, including nearly twenty years experience as a Time To Think Consultant, Coach and Facilitator, I have witnessed many times how valuable it is to offer each other the opportunity to think for ourselves. This day is precious time for your freshest thinking about your writing. Time for you to think about what might help your creativity fly, perhaps, and an opportunity to replace unhelpful limiting assumptions with true liberating ones.  As the issues people are currently dealing with are the ones that create the most energy, please bring with you whatever fascinates you most on the day, and some curiosity. If you’d like to find out more about Time To Think, The Thinking Environment or the online assessment, you can click here, or you can contact me @ christinabreene@mac.com.’

Cost (payable in advance here): £20 for full AMED Members; £25 for Networkers and Guests. This nominal fee includes light refreshments. You can bring your own packed lunch, or choose from one of the many quirky eating places in the nearby Lanes.

Many thanks, Bob

In Ireland, nearly everyone is brought up not far from a coast, river, lake or canal - 'wild' swimming is the main thing I still miss.....

Hi, Kieran

I'll ask around and get back to you.  (Rather you than me, though :)).

Best wishes.  Bob

Can you say where the swimming pool nearest this event is, please?  Whatever the whether, a dip in seawater, in an orderly setting, is also an attraction.
