Event Description

The 26th AMED Annual General Meeting will be held
on Wednesday 22nd September 2021, free, via Zoom

from 11:30 am – 12:15 pm (UK Time)
followed by a facilitated discussion on ‘Practical Hope’ until 1:00 pm

Please join us for AMED’s AGM, where you’ll be able to help us to review our activities and contribute to future plans. We continue to look for people with energy, ideas and experience from the widest possible variety of backgrounds to support our work.  The AGM and our discussion afterwards are open to non-members (though only full AMED Members can cast their vote), so please feel free to invite guests, who will be most welcome.

During our AGM, we’ll be presenting the Annual Report for 2020, along with our Accounts for that year.  Copies of these documents are available on request from Linda Williams at the AMED Office, and on our website.

Please reply to the AMED Office by 12 noon Tuesday 21st September 2021.

If you plan to attend, Linda Williams will then send you the link to the Zoom meeting.

Please consider becoming a Council Member or Supporter/Member of our Hosting Team

Council Members and Supporters are people who make things happen for AMED, working together using e-mail, Zoom and occasional face-to-face meetings.  We are always looking for volunteers from the widest possible range of backgrounds, with ideas and enthusiasm to help us regenerate and renew. We know you will find it refreshing too.

If you would like to help us make things happen in the coming year, please contact our office, or any Council Member, to discuss what you might like to do. Here are some possible activities that might interest you. You may well have other suggestions.

The Autumn/Winter 2021 is likely to be the last edition of e-O&P in its present form, as we pause to take stock of the future shape of our publication ventures. In the meantime, we continue to experiment with other forms of communication such as podcasting and a refreshed website and social media presence, and of course the AMED Writers’ Group remains active.

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 22nd September for another stimulating AMED event, or at a future event.

Bob MacKenzie, Company Secretary
