Notice of the Twenty Fourth Annual General Meeting of
The Association for Management Education and Development
on Thursday 4th April 2019.
Please join us for AMED’s AGM where you’ll be able to help us to review the past year and prepare for what lies ahead. AMED Council have been reviewing membership fees as a way of making AMED even more accessible to a wider and more diverse membership. Council have therefore developed a proposal and will take a decision after consideration at the AGM.
During the AGM we’ll be presenting the Annual Report for 2018, along with our Accounts for the year.
Refreshments will be available and the AGM will be followed at 2 pm by a free workshop on 'How do we collaborate to make a difference?’, facilitated by Rowena Davis. This is open to non-members, so please feel free to invite guests.
If you can, please indicate your intentions in the RSVP panel on the right hand side of this Events web page by 2nd April. Please make use of your proxy vote if you can’t attend. If you are unable to attend the Meeting, please complete and return by 2nd April the AMED AGM Proxy Form (MS Word document) to vote on the membership fees proposal and enable us to have a quorum for this meeting.
Please consider becoming a Council Member?
Council Members are people who make things happen in AMED, working together using conference calls and Skype and occasional face-to-face meetings. There is always more to be done to enhance and influence the effectiveness of our unique community of innovative thinkers and practitioners.
If you would like to help us make things happen in the coming year, contact our office email@example.com or a Council Member, to discuss what it might involve.
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 4th April for another stimulating AMED event.
Bob MacKenzie, Company Secretary
