The media can be you and your organisations greatest ally; if you know how to use it. This advanced media training course will look at how to make that happen for you. It will show you how to structure a media strategy that will get people on side with your campaign and organisation, even when dealing with a broad and diverse audience.
Delegates will learn how to create a media strategy using all of the tools available to them in terms of print media, broadcast and social media. There will be tips from an experienced trainer and you will have a space to discuss the experience of your peers filling the day with practical exercises, role playing scenarios and hands on practice of how to create media strategies.
This short course will give you all the understanding you need to be a successful campaigner for your organisation. We will also focus on crisis management and look at how to turn a negative into a PR storm. This course will enable you to have better relations with the media and give you the skills to create media strategies/campaigns that will be remembered in years to come.

This course is perfect for anyone who has had prior experience with the media and it follows on brilliantly from our Media Training (Public Sector, Charities, NGOs and Social Enterprises), although it is not a prerequisite. It is perfect for anyone in the Public Sector, Charities, NGOs, Social Enterprises, or NHS staff.
