More about you (Short Bio or any other details you’d like people to know)
I am an independent education management consultant, working mostly in the post-16 education sector, but also in secondary and primary school mathematics.
I started my teaching career in schools teaching science and mathematics, and moved into post-16 and into management. My mangement experience includes curriculum management, learning support management (including a small sheltered residential facility for learners with learning difficulties), and strategic management on the FE leadership team.
I hold a framework contract with LSIS (Learning and Skills Improvement Service) enabling me to deliver consultancy and training on their behalf.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
Network support and advice on topics of interest to me and my work.
What do you do for your own development?
Regularly attend courses.
Subscribe to several e-newsletters and bulletins.
Discuss issues and solutions with clients and peers.
