Vocational only
Utterly fascinated and perplexed by organisations, so I spend hours reading and studying the phenomenon
Love teaching anyone about organisations.
Good at writing papers on businesses and behaviour
Ran a couple of my own companies, and chair the Alliance of Deming Consultants
Have vicarious academic qualifications (Hon Doc; visiting Prof) which flatter my CV.
What I’d like from the AMED network is…
Insights on organisational life, up-to-date thinking and appropriate system models, all evidence-based.
Conversations on system thinking and change strategies.
Anything metaphysical.
What do you do for your own development?
meditate, set short term goals, get alongside gurus like Susan George, Arie de Geuss, Elisabet Sahtouris; and characters from the Association for Social Development.
Study Deming and Stafford Beer.
Try to get inside the skin of politics with empathy and so
try to censor my own censoriousness and fears.
