When I first got involved with the oil industry in the late 80s they employed armies of OD consultants. I'm no longer so close but I'd be surprised to find any. You'd have to think it was a fashion whose time had passed.
Interestingly, I met Bill Sutherland of Aberdeen Business School last week. BA were his corporate clients and he spoke very highly of their management culture and customer orientation.
I thought it probably isn't a coincidence that OD is still active. I don't suppose he would say the same about oil company clients.
