Please find as follows the Chair's Report for 2017, which was presented at our AGM on 27th April 2018, including a summary of the 2017 Accounts and Minutes of the AGM:
In the post-AGM Workshop, we had a wide-ranging discussion, ably facilitated by Tony Page, which will contribute greatly to the ongoing co-inquiry about 'Re-imagining AMED: 2020 and beyond'? So watch this space!
Would you like to become a Council Member?
We continue to look for people with ideas and enthusiasm to support the work of AMED through Council. Specialist help in social media, marketing and publication is always particularly welcome, as would an influx of youth and diversity.
Council Members are people who make things happen in AMED. We collaborate behind the scenes, working together in small groups on projects and often use conference calls and Skype to meet and work together.
There is still much more to do if we are going to make AMED a vibrant place to join and actually live our values. Of course the Council needs to look after the finance and governance issues of the organisation so we also meet for a half-day face to face meeting.
If this is you or someone you know, please get in touch with any Council Member, or with Linda. There are some great development opportunities to be had, and - with virtual communications - it shouldn’t matter where you live. We’d welcome your participation.
