thank you, that would be great. I’m happy to wait till it’s published and hope that sharing will contribute to circulation.

Hello, Ilaria (I'm responding on behalf of David and me)

Of course you are free to share your text wherever it helps to further your work.  AMED's publishing purpose is to help spread the good word as freely and widely as possible. Just before you do so, however, we ask you to sign and return a simple Permissions Form, and I'm sending you and all other authors one straight away.

The final published version of the entire edition is mere days away from circulation, so you might just want to wait a little longer for that?  Following publication, we'll also be sending each author a complimentary polished version of their individual article fr just that purpose.

I hope this helps.Kind regards.  Bob

Thanks, David. Lovely to see this issue and I am looking forward to reading the other papers.

Would you be happy for me to share the text of my paper on my institutional repository?

Hello, I was delighted to see the proof of the entire edition and am certainly looking forward to reading other contributions.

I have referred the proofs to my co-author but I do not think there is anything to add to ours, and I think we’re good to go.  With thanks to the editors.

by the way, how is the journal normally cited?  Guidance would be useful.  Ta R

Great work on the draft integrated edition, David.  Thank you.

I'll go through it carefully tomorrow.  Best wishes.  Bob

So ... I think I am up to date with all the articles I have received.

Wonderful articles.  Great edition.  Essence of AMED.

The editorial speaks of David's and Bill's articles being horror stories, which they certainly are.  But are they not also commonplace?  I suppose that is what the Gallup figure of 89% disengaged is saying.  Of course, 'disengaged' may not mean horrorstruck, just very low expectations.

What really grabbed me in the editorial is the use of the term 'neo-liberal' to describe the predominant management paradigm. We humanists, system thinkers (wooly-minded, pinko-lefty liberals) don't have an answer to power and the human appetite for control or for the illusion of control.  We sit in our consensus building circles, engaging in dialogue, resolving conflicts, building consensus while the neo-liberals (Do I mean neo-cons? Or is that something different?) seize the banks and the rifles and get on with the coup.

(Thank you for listening to my rant.) :-)  (Help!)

David,

I have enjoyed having a look at the papers so far, shaping up to be a fascinating edition! Interesting themes coming through, particularly in how most of us have gone about our writing and the humanistic and narrative methods we draw on. Looking forward to seeing the editorial. I have uploaded here by latest draft. Happy with your suggested edits and I'll keep Flyvbjerg  as it is. I've put in one or two other changes in yellow. You asked me for the PowerPoint slide, here is the whole lot. If they have not uploaded properly please say.

To everyone else - hello! Looking forward to meeting you all.

Regards,

Rob

Thanks David, for your kind words. I hope my experience can be useful to others as much as other people's stories of becoming a parent have been to me :-)
