AMED groups and individual Members are often looking for venues - large and small, formal or informal - to hold meetings.

Why not use this page to share details and recommendations about places you know that might be suitable?

One place that I'd recommend is: Brighton: The Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, BN1 1AF.

We've been using it for the last couple of years for the Annual Writing Workshop. It's cheap, friendly, delightfully located by the sea in an interesting town with lots of cheap eating places, and it has a tranquil garden. You can find out more details here http://www.brightonquakers.co.uk.

Contact me if you'd like to know more. Best wishes. Bob

The Sustainable Development Network group meets at The Rising Sun, near Smithfield and the Barbican in London. It's a pub, so people can buy a drink / a bit of food themselves so we don't need to worry about booking catering. This suits us because numbers can be unpredictable. There's an upstairs room which is almost never occupied during the day, so we can meet there. They don't charge for using the room.

Thanks, Penny

Could you possibly add a website address if there is one? BW. Bob
