Following the publication of the Spring 2018 edition of e-O&P on ‘Writing and facilitation’, please join us for another highly participative AMED Writers' Group (AWG) gathering, run in association with Telling Stories Press. Tony, our facilitator this afternoon, contributed an article to the Spring edition, and has also just published a book called 'Secret Box'. Afterwards, we can make an optional (but highly recommended!) visit to our local pub (The Ship).
'Inspired by the Human Potential Movement, this workshop spotlights radical methods from five leaders (Abraham Maslow, Ira Progoff, Julia Cameron, James Pennebaker and Nancy Kline) who contributed to a century of advances in how people connect, what we share and nourish, and what we suppress. Their work will inform our live practice in 1) writing expressively and 2) working together creatively.’
Everyone is welcome, AMED Member or not, so please feel free to spread the word.
Our typically open and informal facilitated AWG gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to meet old and new friends who are interested in writing, reading, listening, learning conversations and conviviality in any form.
Cost: (payable in advance via the AMED web page by Paypal, BACS or cheque here, or on arrival): £12 for full AMED Members; £15 for Networkers and Guests. This includes light refreshments.
RSVP: If you can, please reply by 6 June (earlier if possible) to reserve your place. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions, or if you’d like to offer to facilitate a future AWG session.
Best wishes. Bob. E: firstname.lastname@example.org
