 to help make\nyour community a cleaner, healthier, fairer place\nto li
 ve.\n\nYou will leave feeling inspired and energised,\nready to apply 
 new skills to your important local\nissues.\n\nWho is Power Up for?\n\
 nYou don’t need to be an expert, but you will be\nactive and keen to
  make a difference.\n\nIf you’re already involved in a local campaig
 n and\nyou want to make sure you are using your rights\neffectively, t
 hen Power Up is for you.\n\nPower Up is particularly for people workin
 g in disadvantaged areas and with groups whose voices are not usually 
 heard in decision making.\n\nWhat happens at Power Up?\n\nAt Power Up 
 you’ll find\n• Workshops explaining the legal and planning\nsystem
 s simply and clearly, supported by materials you can refer to after th
 e weekend\n• Networking time and creative activities for participant
 s to learn from each other’s experiences\n• One-to-one ‘surgerie
 s’ to get expert advice from our lawyers, planners and campaigners o
 n your particular issue\n\nHow will Power Up help you/your community?\
 n\nPower Up will bring together key areas of\ncampaign knowledge for y
 ou to take back and share with others in your community. It will help 
 give you more confidence about how your community has a right to speak
  up and get involved in making important decisions.\n\nIt’s not just
  about this weekend – we want to make sure that you know where to ge
 t any further support when you get home and there’s a network for pa
